So Nashville has somehow turned into a rainforest with record breaking amounts of rain and a sun that has obviously went into the witness protection program. Shoots have been cancelled due to this lovely weather and honestly, I was itching to hear the sound of my shutter today and get come creativity juices flowing. So I strapped baby girl to my chest and attempted to shoot some images in our backyard.
A quick background :
I started photography by shooting landscapes and close-ups. I have always been in awe of real macro photography - a future lens purchase. I love how a lens can capture details that the naked eye can miss but only through a lens you see it. However, as my photography grows I want to incorporate more macro into it. But for now enjoy these after the rain shots taken with a 20 lb baby strapped to me....oh except for the ones she decides to play in the mud.
I LOVE this image. I only sharpened it in PSE and nothing else.
It was shot f.1.8 with my 50mm with the lens fogging a bit.
Who knew wheel barrels could be so pretty?
Live, ......, Love
Watch out for falling nuts!
And finally....the sweetest little mud loving girl in the world!
