In my quest to get Facebook fans and market myself, I have tried different ideas. Some really successful and some not so successful. However, I recently heard about a photographer (Tucker Photography) that does a weekly "Cutie Pie" contest on Facebook. He does more traditional photography with a modern twist and actually quite beautiful work. Anyways, this really interested me. The logic behind it is genius. Everyone loves to see their baby and everyone, admit it or not, wants their baby to win a contest soooooo I decided to go with it. I will be starting a weekly "Cutie Petutie" contest. Each week I will post four images from past sessions on my Facebook page. Then friends and family of those little cuties can urge other friends and family to vote on their little one.
In order to vote you must:
1. Become a fan of Amanda McNeal Photography
2. Leave a comment for the image you think is a Cutie Petutie. You must use the phrases "Amanda McNeal Photography" and "cutie petutie"
3. Each fan can only vote one time per week
Of course each week I will be giving a gift to the winner (their parent) whether it's a photo album, canvas tote, print credit, etc.
